Every breaker panel installation we complete is permitted, inspected, and built to last. We don’t hand off the coordination to the homeowner or contractor: we submit the SDG&E service change work order, work directly with SDG&E’s planner on conduit size, meter height, and required clearances, and schedule the disconnect and reconnect. Both our 200A and 400A installation scopes include the new panel, standard circuit breakers, NEC-compliant grounding, and stucco patch repair around the panel enclosure.

200A Panel Installation

The current industry standard for most San Diego single-family homes. Scope includes the new 200A electrical panel, standard circuit breakers, grounding (two ground rods, cold water bond, and panel connection per NEC), stucco patch repair, and the electrical permit. Pricing is quoted per property after a review of your existing service conditions.

400A Panel Installation

The right choice for larger homes, properties with multiple HVAC units, multi-family buildings, or any property planning full electrification with multiple EV chargers. Scope includes the new 400A panel, standard circuit breakers, grounding, stucco patch repair, and the electrical permit. Published price is $12,500.

Coordination, Timeline, & Financing

Both tiers require SDG&E approval and building department sign-off before work begins. Installation is at the same meter location, and any drywall or stucco cutting needed to accommodate wiring is included in our scope. Paint after final inspection is the owner’s responsibility.

Many installations wrap in a single day. The full process, from SDG&E work order submission through final city inspection, can take several weeks depending on utility and municipality scheduling. We keep you informed at every stage.
